THE GOODNESS OF CAMPING IN KENYA

Camping safaris experiences differs from different places and types of accommodations and equipment used. However it all ends to be adventurous and best of holidays in East Africa.
Let us talk about Masai Mara Kenya and also touch on Tanzania Camping safaris.
A journey to Masai Mara starts from Nairobi, Capital City of Kenya in the morning you have organized to beginning your tour. Headed to Masai Mara you are guided by a safari driver who has knowledge and experience of every step in the journey.
You will start by a short brief before the engine of a customized tour van or Jeep start running for a 5 to 6 hours drive to your destination.
It doesn’t run without a stop along the way for you to experience great sceneries of Kenya. Great Rift Valley view is on the way where you will have few minutes stopover for photography and breathtaking atmosphere and view.
This renown Valley is a series of contiguous geographic approximated to be 7,000 kilometres (4,300 mi) in total length.
As you proceed, you will experience change of cultural living as you enter into masai land. You will have a stop over at Masai native town Narok which they refer it to the Enkare Narok, a river flowing through the town. (meaning black water or dark water)
You are half way to your destination and depending on time of departure from Nairobi, you can have lunch in Narok or in still early you will proceed to Masai Mara.
Upon arrival you will be met by the camp representative who will brief you on your stay at the camp.
What is in your mind now?
To get ready to pitch a tent? No! Masai Mara camping has descent build tents with beds and inbuild bathrooms with hot showers. The lighting from either generators or solar and in mist cases they are switched off at 11pm. There are phone charging connections and Wi-Fi in the restaurant. If one need to walk from restaurant to the room at night, it is advised you use a Masai guide who is always available.
Night bonfires are lit if you want to warm yourself before retiring for the next day awaiting game drives. This semi permanent tents accommodation is in most of Kenya National parks such as Amboseli and Samburu. When one is taking more National parks tour eg Nakuru and Naivasha game parks, we use budget clean hotels because they are near towns. In Tanzania Camping Safari is different because you will be involved in pitching the tent yourself or with the help of a porter or guide…, real wildlife which gives you a feel of Africa. Both accommodations are safe and secure.
All meals are provided for.
