First Day from Nairobi to Samburu

Shelter Tours driver / guide will pick you up from either Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi hotel or residence to drive you to Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya via rich farm lands arriving in time for lunch. After settling in your lodge you will head for the evening game drive with your professional and knowledgeable safari guide. Great wildlife to view and also enjoy the African sun set as you head back to your lodge or tented camp for diner and overnight.

Second Day in Samburu

This day after breakfast; you will head out for the morning game drive. You have the opportunity for a full day game drive with picnic lunch or half day safari and evening game drive with hot lunch at the lodge. Samburu Game Reserve offers a wide range of attractions. It is home to the Samburu tribe who are also pastrolist. We have wildlife like the buffalo, leopard, lion, cheetah, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa Oryx, reticulated giraffe and other plains game. After lunch relax at the lodge and later head out for the evening game drive. Diner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp.

Third Day from Samburu to Aberdare

After a scrumptious early breakfast you will check out and have a game drive en route. You will be driven to base hotel at Aberdare arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the tree hotel. The tree hotel has water holes and salt licks that attract wildlife and you can be able to view wildlife from the balcony and take amazing photos. You can place a wake up call if there is a special sighting of game at night. Diner and overnight at the tree hotel.

Forth Day from Aberdare to Lake Nakuru

A light breakfast will be served at the tree hotel before you are transferred to the base hotel for the main breakfast. Afterwards depart and proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for hot lunch. Later you will embark on the evening game drive. The millions of flamingos in the lake will amaze you. The baboon cliff will give you an aerial view of the lake giving a pink out look all due the feathers of the flamingos. Diner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp.

Fifth Day from Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

On this day you will have an early morning game drive so as to have a chance to see wildlife you may have missed on your previous game drives. Lake Nakuru is a rhino sanctuary and you are assured of encountering a black or white rhino. You will be driven to Masai Mara arriving in time for a late lunch. After settling in your lodge you will head for the evening game drive with your professional and knowledgeable safari guide. Great wildlife to view and also enjoy the African sun set as you head back to your lodge or tented camp for diner and overnight.

Sixth & Seventh Day in Masai Mara

Spend two full days at the best park in Kenya. After breakfast; you will head out for the morning game drive. You have the opportunity for a full day game drive with picnic lunch or half day safari and evening game drive with hot lunch at the lodge. Masai Mara is home to more than 1.5 million game which includes all the members of the big five and other wildlife. After lunch and relaxation embark on the evening game drive to Mara river where an encounter of the migration is possible depending on the season. Diner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp.

Eighth Day from Masai Mara to Nairobi

Early morning game drive so as to have a chance to see wildlife you may have missed on your previous game drives. In a good morning you can experience “the big cats” hunting for their prey and the beautiful African sunrise. Your driver guide will take you back Nairobi; Lunch en route. You will be dropped off either at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, Nairobi hotel or residence as per arrangements made earlier. End of your Kenya Luxury magical safari.
