First Day from Nairobi to Samburu

Shelter Tours driver / guide will pick you up from either Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi hotel or residence to drive you to Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya via rich farm lands arriving in time for lunch. After settling in your lodge you will head for the evening game drive with your professional and knowledgeable safari guide. Great wildlife to view and also enjoy the African sun set as you head back to your lodge or tented camp for diner and overnight.

Second Day in Samburu

This day after breakfast; you will head out for the morning game drive. You have the opportunity for a full day game drive with picnic lunch or half day safari and evening game drive with hot lunch at the lodge. Samburu Game Reserve offers a wide range of attractions. It is home to the Samburu tribe who are also pastrolist. We have wildlife like the buffalo, leopard, lion, cheetah, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa Oryx, reticulated giraffe and other plains game. After lunch relax at the lodge and later head out for the evening game drive. Diner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp.

Third Day from Samburu to Aberdare

After a scrumptious early breakfast you will check out and have a game drive en route. You will be driven to base hotel at Aberdare arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the tree hotel. The tree hotel has water holes and salt licks that attract wildlife and you can be able to view wildlife from the balcony and take amazing photos. You can place a wake up call if there is a special sighting of game at night. Diner and overnight at the tree hotel.

Forth Day from Aberdare to Masai Mara

A light breakfast will be served at the tree hotel before you are transferred to the base hotel for the main breakfast. Afterwards depart and proceed to Masai Mara arriving in time for a late lunch. After settling in your lodge you will head for the evening game drive with your professional and knowledgeable safari guide. Great wildlife to view and also enjoy the African sun set as you head back to your lodge or tented camp for diner and overnight.

Fifth Day in Masai Mara

Spend a full day in the best game reserve in Kenya. After breakfast; you will head out for the morning game drive. You have the opportunity for a full day game drive with picnic lunch or half day safari and evening game drive with hot lunch at the lodge. Masai Mara is home to more than 1.5 million game which includes all the members of the big five and other wildlife. After lunch and relaxation embark on the evening game drive to Mara river where an encounter of the migration is possible depending on the season. Diner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp.

Sixth Day from Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

Today you will have an early morning game drive so as to have a chance to see wildlife you may have missed on your previous game drives. After breakfast proceed on your safari to Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon head to hell’s gate national park for a game drive or you can opt for a bike ride a midst game. There are no predators in this park and biking in the park is very safe. Return to your lodge or tented camp as the African sun sets for diner and overnight.

Seventh Day from Lake Naivasha to Amboseli

After breakfast is served you will check out and you will be driven to lake Naivasha for a boat ride. The lake has schools of hippos and amazing bird life too. The most notable is the fish eagle. On the other side of the shore; you will take a walk at crescent island. Boat back to the rendezvous point. You will be driven to Amboseli National park arriving in time for lunch. After settling in your lodge you will head for the evening game drive with your professional and knowledgeable safari guide. Great wildlife to view and also enjoy the African sun set as you head back to your lodge or tented camp for diner and overnight.

Eighth Day in Amboseli

This day after breakfast; you will head out for the morning game drive. You have the opportunity for a full day game drive with picnic lunch or half day safari and evening game drive with hot lunch at the lodge. Amboseli national park is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains. Game to view include the usual predators and their prey Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo. After lunch relax at the lodge and later head out for the evening game drive. Diner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp.

Ninth Day from Amboseli to Tsavo West

Today you will have an early morning game drive after breakfast is served. Afterwards you will depart and driven to Tsavo West arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will have the evening game drive which includes the Mzima sprigs. The spring host’s schools of hippos and there is an underwater bunker where you can view marine life in the clear waters of the spring. Diner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp.

Tenth Day from Tsavo West to Tsavo East

Wake up early to scrumptious breakfast followed by your morning game drive. Thereafter you will be driven to Tsavo east arriving in time for lunch. After settling in and relaxing a bit; head out for the evening game drive. Tsavo east is home to red elephants. Elephants wallowing in dust and mad so as to cool their body temperature due to the hot African sun hence the name. Both tsavo west and east are the biggest parks in Kenya. Diner and overnight at the lodge or tented camp.

Eleventh Day from Tsavo East to Nairobi or Mombasa

Early morning game drive so as to have a chance to see wildlife you may have missed on your previous game drives. In a good morning you can experience “the big cats” hunting for their prey and the beautiful African sunrise. Your driver guide will take you back Nairobi or drive you to one of the hotels in Mombasa for an extensive beach holiday; Lunch en route. You will be dropped off either at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, Nairobi hotel or residence as per arrangements made earlier. End of your magical safari.
