Mikumi Flying Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Mikumi
Mid morning pick up from your hotel in dar es Salaam and proceed to the airport. Board a light air craft and fly to Mikumi National Park. On board you will have spectacular views of different landscape and hope fully the peaks of mount Kilimanjaro.
Upon landing our friendly guide will welcome you and guide you to our safari jeep. The adventure begins as you have your first game drive. Game to view include buffalo, elephant, lions, wildebeests, Maasai giraffe, hippos, impalas, and crocodile, there are also, zebras and warthogs. We will have a break and have lunch at one of the lodges before embarking on our second game drive. Diner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Mikumi
Spend a full day with game drives around the Mikumi National Park with a packed lunch or do morning and afternoon game drives with a lunch break at the lodge/tented camp. Mikumi National Park is part of the larger Selous Ecosystem together with the Selous Game Reserve and harbors remarkable numbers of bird’s species and animals. Apart from game drives in the park you can also go for a guided walking safari guided by an armed ranger. Diner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Mikumi – Dar es Salaam
Morning game drive after breakfast hoping to capture early morning kills as well as other wildlife you might have missed on your previous game drive. Later proceed back to the lodge for lunch and afterwards check out and proceed to the airstrip for your flight back to Dar es salaam. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel where your safari ends.

Selous Flying Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Selous
Mid morning pick up from your hotel in dar es Salaam and proceed to the airport. Board a light air craft and fly to Selous National Park. On board you will have spectacular views of different landscape and hope fully the peaks of mount Kilimanjaro.
Upon landing our friendly guide will welcome you and guide you to our safari jeep. Proceed to the lodge for check inn and lunch. Afterwards you will go for a boat ride in the Rufiji River. Crocodiles, hippos and hippos can be seen here as well as other animals as they converge to quench their thirst. Crocodiles take advantage to hunt their prey and you might be treated to sights of animal action if lucky. Diner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Selous
On this day you will spend a full day in the vast Game Reserve doing game drives in search of animals like elephants, zebras, gazelles, impalas and the rarest of all; the African Wild dogs. This Game Reserve was named after a prominent European explorer; the late Fredrick Selous and the reserve has since been declared a world heritage site by the UN body UNESCO. This game reserve is roughly the size of Switzerland and it covers unexploited African wilderness with topography that varies from rolling savannah grassland plains, savannah woodlands and rocky out crops that are believed to have been cut by the Rufiji River. Diner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Selous – Dar es Salaam
Morning game drive after breakfast hoping to capture early morning kills as well as other wildlife you might have missed on your previous game drive. You can opt for a guided walk. Later proceed back to the lodge for lunch and afterwards check out and proceed to the airstrip for your flight back to Dar es salaam. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel where your safari ends.
