First Day from Arusha/Moshi to Serengeti

Shelter Tours driver / guide will pick you up from either Kilimanjaro International Airport, Arusha/Moshi hotel or your residence to drive you to serengeti arriving well in time for lunch. After settling in your lodge, head out for the evening game drive. Serengeti covers 12,944km2 of open plains making it one of the largest in the world. The rocky outcrops commonly known as moru kopjes in the eastern part of the park are of scenic beauty and occasionally cats can be seen lazing on them. The park contains vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and other antelopes. Dinner and overnight at your luxury tented camp or lodge.

Second Day in Serengeti

Today after breakfast; you will head out for the morning game drive. You have the opportunity for a full day game drive with picnic lunch or half day safari and evening game drive with hot lunch at the lodge. Delve into the vast plains of this reserve where the encounter of the big five is common. A drive to the seronera river offers possibilities of sighting big and small cats. The visitor centre close to the Serengeti seronera lodge and public campsites is well worth a visit after the morning’s game drive. Lunch at your lodge; relax in the afternoon before your evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at your luxury tented camp or lodge.

Third Day from Serengeti to Arusha/Moshi

Early morning game drive so as to have a chance to see wildlife you may have missed on your previous game drives. In a good morning you can experience “the big cats” hunting for their prey and the beautiful African sunrise. Your driver guide will take you back Arusha/Moshi. You will be dropped off either at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Arusha/Moshi hotel or your residence as per arrangements made earlier. End of your exciting Tanzania lodge safari.
