First Day from Arusha/Moshi to Lake Manyara

Shelter Tours driver / guide will pick you up from either Kilimanjaro International Airport, Arusha/Moshi hotel or your residence to drive you Lake Manyara arriving well in time for lunch. After settling in your lodge, head out for the evening game drive. Lake Manyara is a scenic gem, with a setting extolled by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. You are bound to encounter the famous tree climbing lions, olive baboons among other wildlife. Diner and overnight at your lodge.

Second Day from Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater

This day after breakfast; you will head out for the morning game drive. You will get a chance to see flamingos; the lake is a breeding ground. The park is rich with fantastic bird life. More than 400 species of birds can be seen here. Depart and you will be driven to Ngorongoro crater arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon you can opt to take a guided walk along the crater rim enjoying the view as the African sun sets. Diner and overnight at your lodge.

Third Day in Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast head to the crater with packed lunch. Descend to the crater floor for a day game drive. Ngorongoro Crater is the world biggest volcanic caldera at 8300 sq km and is arguably the most stunning arena. It is frequently described as one of the wonders of the world not only because of its geological magnificence but also because it serves as an extraordinary natural sanctuary for some of Africa largest population of large mammals. The annual wildebeest and zebras migration passes through the crater. We will take a break for lunch and thereafter we continue with game viewing. Ngorongoro crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and big herds of African elephants. Ascend the crater and proceed to the lodge for diner and overnight.

Forth Day from Ngorongoro Crater to Tarangire

Our day will begin with breakfast followed by departure; you will be driven to Tarangire. On arrival you will have a game drive en route to the lodge. Tarangire National park is famous for the huge elephants or known as home of elephants. Lunch at the lodge and afterwards head for the evening game drive to explore the park famous for its tree-climbing pythons. Many of the animals congregate around the only source of permanent water in the park, the Tarangire River. Diner and overnight at the lodge.

Fifth Day from Tarangire to Arusha/Moshi

Our final safari day is here, we will begin by an early breakfast followed by the morning game drive so as to have a chance to see wildlife you may have missed on your previous game drives. In a good morning you can experience “the big cats” hunting for their prey and the beautiful African sunrise. Your driver guide will take you back Arusha/Moshi. You will be dropped off either at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Arusha/Moshi hotel or your residence as per arrangements made earlier. End of your exciting Tanzania lodge safari.
