Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Arusha

Your adventure commences as you touch down at Kilimanjaro International Airport, the gateway to Tanzania's incredible wilderness. A swift transfer will transport you to Arusha, where anticipation for the impending trek fills the air. Welcomed by your trekking team, you'll partake in a comprehensive pre-trek briefing and gear check, ensuring you're adequately equipped for the journey. The remainder of the day is reserved for rest, rejuvenation, and eager anticipation of the expedition that lies ahead.
Day 2: Momella Gate (1,500m) to Miriakamba Hut (2,514m)

The dawn of your trek begins with a transfer to the Momella Gate, the threshold of the Mount Meru adventure. As you step into the wilderness, you'll be enveloped by a lush forest, vibrant with a rich array of flora and fauna. The trail meanders upward, revealing the true charm of Kilimanjaro's younger sibling. Upon reaching Miriakamba Hut, perched amidst this verdant oasis, a sense of accomplishment sets the tone for the journey.
Day 3: Miriakamba Hut (2,514m) to Saddle Hut (3,570m)

Continuing the ascent, the path unveils a transition in scenery. The verdant forest transforms into a sprawling saddle, offering unobstructed views of both Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. The Saddle Hut provides a place to rest, set against the backdrop of the Little Meru and Meru peaks. Here, you'll absorb the altitude, reveling in the stillness of the alpine environment.
Day 4: Saddle Hut (3,570m) to Socialist Peak (4,566m) and Descend to Miriakamba Hut

Today marks the pinnacle of your adventure as you set out for the summit. The climb to Socialist Peak commences under the shimmering stars of the early morning. Upon reaching the summit, the world unfolds before you, showcasing the beauty of Tanzania from a lofty perspective. Descending to Saddle Hut, you'll pause to reflect on this momentous achievement before making your way back to Miriakamba Hut.
Day 5: Miriakamba Hut (2,514m) to Momella Gate (1,500m)

The descent continues, leading you back through the scenic forest. The triumphant return to Momella Gate is both a culmination and a new beginning. At the gate, a certificate of achievement awaits, a testament to your conquering of Mount Meru. As you bid farewell to this majestic peak, you'll transfer back to Arusha, cherishing the memories of this remarkable trek.
